Months after Zayn Malik left One Direction, it was reported that the boy group will take a hiatus for the members to work on individual projects.
The boyband was said to disband next year on March. It was also reported that they will not be able to tour their fifth album. According to the source of The Sun, there is no bad blood between Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.

The said source also cleared that the hiatus is not a split and they intend to work together again in the future.
One Direction will still fulfil the rest of their commitments for their record label until February. The source also said that the departure of Zayn Malik from the group has nothing to do with the decision to extend the hiatus.
