In the year 1992, international Broadway singer Lea Salonga gave the singing voice to Disney’s Princess Jasmine on it’s animated classic ‘Alladin’.
After 22 years, a video of Lea Salonga performing the song “A Whole New World” which made her way to be inducted as a Disney legend, has gone viral.
In the video, Lea was performing with the UK band “Il Divo”. After ET Online posted the video, it’s video hits on Youtube jumped from 100,000 to over 530,000 in less than a week.
She officially became a Disney Legend in the year 2011.
Lea was also the singing voice behind the lead character in Disney’s “Mulan”.
