Comedy Box Office Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas commented on the sudden change in some of the segments of longest-running noontime variety show “ASAP 20” after her followers said the new segments seems to resemble the comedy musical format of GMA Network’s new noontime Sunday show “Sunday PinaSaya.”
The comedienne took a selfie before the airing of “Sunday PinaSaya” on Sunday (August 23, 2015) and shared it on her Instagram account.

Through the comments section, one of her followers raised the copycat issue to which Ai-Ai replied. She wrote:
Meanwhile on a separate Instagram post, Ai-Ai shared a groufie on which the same follower asked the comedienne on her opinion about the said issue. Ai-Ai replied and wrote:
This was after some televiewers noticed that ASAP 20 inserted some games in the show’s format such as “Pa-Nae Nae boys versus Pabebe girls” and “Karaokey Challenge”. The show also added a musical short skit including this week’s Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano’s “Ibong Adarna” love story.
Even ASAP 20 mainstay Martin Nievera reacted on these changes and took to Twitter his sentiments. He wrote:
However, in the end the Concert King told the netizens in a separate tweet that there is always room for experiment and competition and there is nothing to fear. He wrote:
“Everyone relax pls! Asap has been there for 20 years. There is always room for experiment & competition. Let the games begin. Fear not all!”
