After giving up the role of Darna in the upcoming remake of the film, Kapamilya star Angel Locsin considers undergoing medical procedure to treat her bulging disc injury; according to her boyfriend, Luis Manzano.
In an interview with ABS-CBNNews.com, Luis said that Angel is still weighing the two options she was given with regard to treating her injury.

The actor shared, he remains positive that Angel’s condition—with proper therapy—will get better soon.
“Basta makapagpa-treatment kung sakaling magawa niya ‘yung nakaplanong whether ‘yung surgery, basta magawa ‘yon at maayos ‘yung therapy after, she can be 100% again.”
People have been clamouring over the fact that the actress had to give up the role of Darna after preparing and training for two years. In fact, an Instagram account was created pleading to wait for Angel to recover before the remake of the film.
When asked about the ABS-CBN management’s decision whether to look for a replacement or wait for Angel’s recovery, Luis commented:
