Despite the public apology given by veteran actress Melissa Mendez to Rey Pamaran, Rey still filed a case regarding the dispute that happened between them during a flight bound to Pagadian.
According to GMA news, Rey filed the criminal complaint of slander by deed with damages amounting to P3 million against actress Melissa Mendez last March 25, 2015.

Rey said that he will only accept Melissa’s public apology if she corrects certain details of her version of the incident.
Rey filed the case together with his lawyer, Atty. Raymond Fortun.
