Walt Disney Studios of Southeast Asia chose singer Rachelle Ann Go to sing the classic “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from the original animated fairy-tale Cinderella.
According to Amit Malhotra, General Manager of Walt Disney Studios, Southeast Asia, Rachelle was chosen because she exemplifies Cinderella’s vibrant beauty, and she is an inspiration to a lot of young Filipinos everywhere, and Rachelle like Cinderella never stopped following her dreams.

She also said that Rachelle is special because through her voice, the singer can deliver the real meaning of the said song.
