Reading a beautiful story before they go to sleep is one of the many ways for a child to feel love and to be able to hone their imaginary skills.
That is why it brought such warm feelings knowing that in a simple way, Iza became a reason for the children of Cancer Warriors Foundation to smile even though they are experiencing some challenges in the early stage of their lives.

Iza shared in an Instagram post last September 7, 2015 how happy she was being the first storybook reader for “Maximo and The Big C”. She read the adventures of “Maximo and The Big C” to the children of the said foundation.
“Thank you Cancer Warriors Foundation and Max Foundation for inviting me to be the first storybook reader for Maximo and The Big C thank you for letting me touch the hearts of these kids in a simple and special way. Lumabas Ang inner Lola Basyang ko. I hope they enjoyed it as much I did!” captioned Iza on one of her post.
“Sharing with you guys a weekend that was filled with so much happiness and love starting with Saturday’s book reading for Cancer Warriors Kids. My first time to read a story book to any child and of course I had to do it for a group of kids” she added.
