In an episode of Kris TV, show host Kris Aquino asked Kapamilya actress Iza Calzado regarding first meetup with her boyfriend, British entrepreneur Ben Wintle.
Iza said she was on the stage of moving on after her breakup with her non-showbiz boyfriend for two-and-a-half years. She decided to stay out, socialize, mingle and hoped that she will meet ‘somebody’. Until she met Ben in a magazine event.

Iza shared that Ben approached her first and asked if he could add her on Facebook. She laughed at him as there are many fake accounts on Facebook. Iza also said that she is not into playing games so she told him not to complicate things and to just get her number.
Their communication to each other progressed and they even went on dates. Ben was also with Iza when her late father got admitted in the hospital. Iza shared that Ben was there for her when her father passed away last November 2011. She admired him because he was strong and patient.
Despite being together for almost four years, the couple said that they have no plans of settling down yet, as they are both focused on their respective careers. Ben said he’s focused on his restaurant finder app Booky while Iza is focused on her projects in the local showbiz industry.
