ABS-CBN published an article entitled “Five reasons why ‘The Breakup Playlist’ (Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo) is better than the Hollywood film ‘Begin Again’ (Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, and Adam Levine).
In the article, it recognizes the fact that the ‘Breakup Playlist’ could possibly be compared to the 2013 Hollywood film ‘Begin Again’ and it also outlines the two movies’ differences with the conclusion that the Sarah-Piolo film is better than the international film.

Iza said that she enjoyed watching the Breakup Playlist and supports Sarah and Piolo. She even shared the following photo on her Instagram account with the following caption:
“About last night.. Supporting my B @piolo_pascual and the one and only Sarah Geronimo for their movie. The Break Up Playlist. Congratulations to the whole team especially to PH and SG, Direk Dan Villegas and Antoinette Jadaone.”
However, she disagrees on the said article’s notion that the ‘Breakup Playlist’ is better than ‘Begin Again’. On her Twitter account, she shared her sentiments saying:
