The international film entitled ‘Showdown in Manila’ is currently being shot here in the Philippines, and our very own Iza Calzado has been cast in the said film.
Iza will portray a detective in the movie that will protect one of its characters against a drug trafficker.
‘Showdown In Manila’ or also known as ‘Manila Showdown’ is an action thriller that is somehow similar with the movie Expendables.

Iza joins Hollywood stars Tia Carrere and Casper Van Dien in the said film, it also marks the directorial debut of former action star and now “Iron Chef” host Mark Dacascos.
This is the second international film for Iza, the first one was the movie entitled “The Echo” which was the re-make of the movie “Sigaw”.
Besides Iza, another Filipina actress is part of ‘Showdown In Manila’, which is actress Anjanette Abayari.
