The thriller ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ will be back on movie screens.
Who would forget the story about four teenagers who accidentally run over a person, and to escape the responsibility they decided to dispose the body into the water?
Then after a few days, the teens received an anonymous letter with the message “I know what you did last summer”.
Yes, the movie that grossed more than $125 million worldwide and had two sequels including ‘I Still Know What You Did Last Summer’ and ‘I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer’ is to be rebooted by Sony Pictures.
They are planning to release the remake by the year 2016.
According to Deadline, Sony Pictures has talked with Oculus co-writer and director Mike Flanagan and partner Jeff Howard to adapt the 1973 book once again.
The movie that was shown 17 years ago starred Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Ryan Phillippe.
