Senator Leila de Lima’s former driver and alleged bagman was arrested in La Union on Tuesday (November 21, 2016) morning.
According to a police report, Dayan was apprehended around 11:30 at Sitio Turod, Barangay San Felipe in San Juan Town, La Union by CIDG-La Union and police officers of La Union and Pangasinan.

With a P1-million bounty on his head, Dayan was orderedarrested for skipping congressional investigation on the illegal drug trade inside the New Bilibid Prison, where he was accused of being the one collecting drug money that was used for Sen. De Lima’s senatorial campaign.
De Lima, who denies her involvement in NBP illegal drug trade, said she will issue a statement later in the day.
