Senator Leila De Lima admitted that she had a relationship with her former driver and bodyguard Ronnie Dayan. She describes it as “frailties of a woman.”
The lady senator made the admission during a one-on-one interview with Winnie Monsod on “Bawal ang Pasaway kay Mareng Winnie”.

In a report by 24 Oras on GMA7, The lady senator further said that the relationship lasted a few years and she broke up with him before she ran for senator. Also the senator admitted that she helped Dayan but denied financing the construction of his house.
