After being hailed as the “The Face” of the show, Your Face Sounds Familiar (YFSF), Melai Cantiveros admits that new opportunities are waiting for her. She revealed in an interview with push.com.ph, “Sobrang dami ng mga inquiries. Talagang bumalik ‘yung nanalo ako sa PBB dati ganon at ganon din ang nangyayri ngayon, mga inquries, mga ganon kaya sobrang thankful ako kay papa God.”
However she also shared that her responsibility as a mom is an important factor in deciding whether she’ll accept or decline a certain offer. She said, “Ngayon kailangan mo siguro mag-isip sa mga projects. Hindi ka pwedeng lahat tatanggapin mo kasi hindi naman pwedeng makaya mo lahat. Kailangan mo ring magampanan ‘yung pagiging mother mo. at the same time. So this time, kailangan mo ring gamitin ang utak mo so ‘yung mga projects na tatanggapin mo ba o hindi.”

When asked if Melai and Jason are ready to have their second baby, she said, “Kasi nag-iipon muna talaga. May naipon na kami for us pero kulang pa ‘yun.” However, she also added, “Siguro after 3 or 2 [years].”
Finally, the YFSF Champion left a message for her supporters, “Sobra akong thankful talaga sa mga Melason. Sobrang thankful ako kay Papa God kasi siya naming ang dahilan ng lahat ng ‘to. Kung hindi niya tinouch ‘yung mga heart ng mga tao, talagang hindi ako mananalo at talagang si Lord siguro talagang destiny talaga na nandito ako. At sa family ko na over over, sa husband ko kay Jason (Francisco) at sa anak ko.”
