A tweet directed to Kapamilya singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino pushed her to voice out her thoughts and speak about Manny Pacquiao’s highly talked about statement concerning the LGBT community and same-sex marriage.
While at her anniversary trip with husband Yan Asuncion in Palawan on Thursday (February 18, 2016), Yeng took time to post a video on Facebook addressing a particular tweet which asked her to stand with Manny against homosexuality as a Christian.

“Para po sa mga di nakakaalam, Kristyano po ako pero may kapatid akong bading. Siguro sa ibang tao madaling mag-kumento kasi wala kayong kapamilya na ganun… And for someone who encouraged me to talk like that? Di ko po kayang gawin yun”
After she composed herself, Yeng shared that called and sought for forgiveness from her brother who got hurt and offended upon hearing Manny’s statement.
“Ayaw ko maniwala ka na ganun tingin sa’yo ng mundo, ng lipunan, kasi ako mismo na kapatid mo, di ganun ang tingin ko sayo,” Yeng told her brother.
The Kapamilya singer-songwriter also expressed her overflowing love for her brother by saying,
