The World Food Programme (WFP) Philippines expressed their gratitude to Actress, KC Concepcion as she chose to gave her winnings of PhP 300,000.00 from Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal (KDOND) to help feed the Filipino school kids in Mindanao with hot meals.
The actress once again proved how close her heart is to the poor, vulnerable and displaced Filipinos. KC was the guest celebrity player of KDOND on Friday, June 19.

The WFP Philippines tweeted, “Congrats on your game show win, @kc_concepcion and thanks for your constant support to WFP’s school meals program!”
On her Instagram account, KC shared a video during the final moments of her game on KDOND. She also thanked her supporters saying, “THANK YOU to the supporters of our FIGHT AGAINST CHILD HUNGER. This win (a choice between P25 and P300k!) is for FILIPINO SCHOOL KIDS in Mindanao, by making HOT MEALS available to them every day they come to school! This is a way for us at UN World Food Program to get them to COME to school & STAY in school ALL YEAR. PHP300k = “4 metric tons” of food for 100 Filipino children, for ONE WHOLE SCHOOL YEAR.
