Former beauty queen and Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 third Big Placer Wendy Valdez revealed through a touching Instagram post that she suffered from a miscarriage on her first pregnancy.
On Wednesday afternoon (January 20, 2016), Wendy shared a photo of her last ultrasound along with a moving message where she shared that she lost her first child with husband Normann Garcia.

“I am not pregnant na. A week ago,I had spotting for two days that I had to rest for a week and take meds to protect the baby. Today the doctor said that I have a blighted ovum. The egg did not develop to an embryo. He said its only a one time occurence in a woman and would not happen again. I felt sad… My dreams and visions changed.”
Despite going through one of the hardest misfortunes in her life, Wendy mentioned that her faith helped her cope with the miscarriage. She also added that she remains optimistic that they will be blessed with a child of their own at the right time saying,
