Vice Ganda tells people to stop bashing Maxine Medina

Comedian and TV host Vice Ganda urged Filipinos to pray for Miss Universe Philippines bet Maxine Medina instead of bashing the beauty queen.

In an interview posted on ABS-CBN News, Vice expressed his strong support for Maxine. “Pag nanalo ‘yon, pride nating lahat. Kaya ipagdasal natin, trabahuhin natin na manalo ‘yong kandidata natin,” the comedian was quoted as saying.

Vice also reiterated that English proficiency is not a big deal in other countries.

It could be remembered that Maxine drew criticisms from netizens for her grammatical errors at a send-off press conference.
