What seems to be a funny conversation about ‘scalp and wigs’ turns out be an inspiring afternoon discussion on today’s episode of ‘It’Showtime’. The show’s Unkaboggable host Vice Ganda, was hailed as the Phenomenal Star in the recent Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation (GMMSF) 46th Box Office Entertainment Awards.
Vice expressed how thankful he is for the award, saying, “Gusto ko po magpasalamat sa Guillermo Mendoza Box Office Entertainment Awards para sa pang-apat na Box Office Award na ‘binigay nila sa akin. First time na nangyarito na apat na beses, sunod sunod… Maraming Salamat.”
He shared how he feels and his realizations about his success. He said, “Kagabi kasi nung nakahiga ako,sabi ko ang taray, pang apat na taon, sunod sunod, ako yung binigyan ng Phenomenal Box Office Award. I am just so blessed… Tapos bigla akong fumlashback.”

He revealed that he once attempted suicide when he was 19. He said, “Na realize ko na, kasi nung edad ko pong 19 years old, nag attempt akong mag-suicide. Sobrang depression… Uminom ako ng kung ano-anong gamut no’n.”
He added, “Kung natuloy pala talaga yun no, edi hindi ko na achieve ‘to… I was so blessed na hinarang ng Diyos ‘yung pangit kong trip nung panahon na yun. Dahil kung hindi, hindi ko mararanasan yung napakagagandang bagay sa mundo na nararanasan ko ngayon.”
Finally, he left a remarkable message to everyone, specifically, to young people, saying, “May this inspire lalo na yung mga kabataan. Kasi sa South East Asia, ang may pinakamataas na rate ng suicide sa mga bata because of depression. Sa lahat ng mga batang may pinagdadaanan, katulad ng mga pinagdaanan ko noon, kung anumang pangit na binabalak n’yo, wag n’yong ituloy. Sayang, dahil may maganda palang plano ang Diyos. Mas maganda sa mga pinaplano natin.”
