Nobody expected what Vice Ganda did during the “AdVice Ganda” segment of “It’s Showtime”, Vice removed his contact lens, hair extention, and makeup to show his true self.
Vice did this to show Pamela Reyes, 16, that natural beauty is true beauty, after the teenager who became emotional narrated how she became a victim of bullying. Pamela cannot understand why people can just judge other people by just their mere looks.
Vice removed all her aesthetic and said “Ito ako, ito si Vice Ganda. Hindi makinis ang mukha ko para sa paningin ng iba, mataas ang hairline ko. Ngayon picturan niyo akong lahat, ikalat niyo sa Internet. Pagtawanan niyo ako. Laitin niyo ako. Sabihin niyo ang lahat ng nais niyong sabihin. Wala akong pakialam”.
Vice then invites all to post on Instagram what they feel is their “ugliest” photo and use the hashtag #ProudTobeMe.
