Despite being known for his comedic personality on national television, Kapamilya comedian-host Vice Ganda called for unity and asked his fellow countrymen to follow the lead of the Philippine’s president-elect, incumbent Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
Based on the partial and unofficial tally of votes in the recently concluded presidential election (May 9, 2016), Duterte holds the highest chance of becoming the Philippines’ 16th president after garnering a total of 15,849,676 votes from all over the country as of writing.

With this in hand, his fellow presidential candidates Mar Roxas and Grace Poe announced that they have conceded and alreadey gave way to the incumbent Davao City Mayor. In addition, various personalities in the entertainment already expressed their congratulatory message for Duterte and acknowledged the fact that he will be the country’s next president.
Merely a day after the national election (May 10, 2016), Vice shared his short message for his fellow Filipinos who are about to welcome their 16th president through the Kapamilya noontime variety show, ‘It’s Showtime.’
