As of 12:29 p.m. of Tuesday (May 10, 2016), presidential aspirant Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte already had 15,321,784 votes while second runner Mar Roxas has 9,233,431.
For unity and for the country, Mar conceded to Duterte and even wished the mayor success and luck for the upcoming years of his presidency.

In a press conference that Mar Roxas held at Balay Headquarters in Cubao, Quezon City, he declared, “Digong, I wish you success. Ang iyong tagumpay ay tagumpay ng ating sambayanan at ng ating bansa.”
As his press conference ended, supporters keep on chanting his name and some even cried.
