Rhap Salazar loves Anne Curtis’ live performance on ‘It’s Showtime’

The ‘lip-syncing’ issue or the ‘non-singer versus real singer’ issue became massive as it is one topic that is indeed debatable.

Veteran singers such as Gary Valenciano and Lea Salonga gave their take on the said issue. Showtime hosts Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis also expressed their opinions. Recently, former beauty queen and multi-awarded actress Liza Diño proposed a solution on the said issue.

It all roots down to young singer Rhap Salazar’s statements on Twitter wherein he expressed his disappointment on how artists’ lip-syncing on television were the ones being given the opportunity to release albums instead of “real singers”.

It seems that the controversial issue will soon subside as TV Host-turned-singer Anne sang Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” live on “It’s Showtime” last Saturday (July 18, 2015). After her virtual duet with Jessie J on ASAP 20, the ‘Showtime’ host once again proved and is proud that she did not need to lip-sync in order to entertain the ‘madlang’ people.

It seems that it is not only the ‘madlang’ people who loved Anne’s live performance but also Rhap as he retweeted Anne’s post saying:

“Wooohooo! I survived!!! #BadBlood #NoLipsyncing #ParaSaEkonomiya”

On his Twitter account, Rhap expressed how he loved Anne’s performance saying:

“I love you, @annecurtissmith”

Weeks before, Rhap also took to Twitter his admiration for Anne after her virtual duet with Jessie J.
