Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez recently got bashed and received hateful comments from the avid supporters of a particular presidential aspirant after expressing her opinion on the controversial “rape joke.”
Regine uploaded an intriguing photo message on her personal Instagram account last Sunday (April 17, 2016) which read, “Rape is not a joke.”

Through the photo caption of the said post, the Asia’s Songbird expressed her opinion on the controversial “rape joke” of presidential aspirant Rodrigo Duterte.
“Kelan pa po ba naging joke Ito? In my mind and in my heart, we should be sensitive about joking about this issue because many have suffered because of rape. It is a serious issue. Not a joking matter. #respetolangpo”
