ABS-CBN noontime variety show ‘It’s Showtime’ reportedly tweeted a blurred photo of a celebrity that will be guesting on the show. The caption read: “Sino nga ba ang Royalty na kailangan nating abangan? #ShowtimeMiyerKuLetsGo.”
Fans of the Asia’s Songbird noticed the resemblance of the blurred photo to a photo of Regine Velasquez and were ecstatic when the news came out. However, Regine denied that she will be guesting on the noontime show, citing that her television series ‘Poor Senorita’ on GMA 7 has not yet ended.

A fan of Regine wrote: “Yung tuwang tuwa ako na nagbigay ng clue yung It’s Showtime kung sino sinasabi nila na Royalty na aabangan sa Sabado tas yung picture na blurred ee ikaw na ikaw tas search ko sa Google ikay nga Ms. Regine. Ikaw yung nasa picture. Hayyy saya saya sana ikaw nga pls Lord.”
The Asia’s Songbird replied to the fan: “@iha_aika hi sorry but it’s not me. Matatapos pa lang ang soap ko sa GMA at hindi ako papayagan.”
The said tweet was already deleted from ‘It’s Showtime’s’ official twitter account as well as the fan’s comment on Regine’s Instagram post.
