Comedian Randy Santiago left his role as director of GMA variety show “Wowowin”, to be part of ABS-CBN fantasy drama “La Luna Sangre”.
After taking a break from acting, Randy Santiago will make his acting comeback with the show “La Luna Sangre”. In an interview with PEP, the actor revealed that he has bid his farewell to friend, TV host Willie Revillame and his show “Wowowin”.
“Wala na po ako doon [Wowowin], nagpaalam na po ako nang maayos para mag-concentrate na sa aking acting!” he said.
He added that he left the show in good terms “Maganda naman yung pagkakapaalam ko kay Kuya Wil.”

He shared that he was called and offered to act in a teleserye. Adding that he was shocked to learn he will be working with Director Cathy Garcia-Molina, and stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.
He said “Sabi ko, ‘Ha?’ Na-shock ako, e, siyempre puro kalokohan lang ang alam ko, e. Pero nung sinabi na kung sino yung makakasama ko, si Daniel, si Kathryn, of course to be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, na-shock ako.”
He expressed his nervousness working with Director Cathy.
“Ninerbiyos ako, e, dahil puro kalokohan lang ang alam ko po. So, iyon lang po ang ginagawa ko at inaambag ko sa show, puro kalokohan,” he said.
