Actor Piolo Pascual shared his reaction to the people’s comments on his photo with his son Iñigo that has been making rounds on social media.
The photo was originally posted by Piolo’s “yaya” Moi Marcampo on her Instagram account and has gone viral since then, garnering varied reactions—from people admiring the closeness of Piolo to his only son to filth-minded people who see malice in what was an endearing moment.

In an interview by Pep.ph, Piolo revealed that he has learned to not care about the malicious comments that some people gave regarding the sweet reunion of the father-son duo.
“Hindi na… kumbaga hindi ko na pinagtakahan yun. Yun talaga yung nature ng tao, e, mapag… masama yung mapagduda,” Piolo said. “E, my son didn’t see me for two months, you know, so ganun kami.”
Piolo spent his time abroad in Oxford, London to strengthen his faith and study Christianity.
“Ganun kami ka-affectionate sa isa’t isa so mainggit na lang sila, di ba?,” he added.
With his experience in the entertainment industry, Piolo also said that he just shrugs off such negative comments from bashers.
“Sa tagal ko ba naman sa industriya, papatol pa ba tayo? Ipinagkibit-balikat na lang yun at mas maraming may kuwentang gawin sa buhay kaysa pumatol,” he said.
