Teen star Iñigo Pascual shared a touching birthday message for his dad, veteran actor Piolo Pascual—with whom he referred to as his “role model”—through an Instagram post.
On Tuesday (January 12, 2016), the veteran actor welcomed his 39th birthday with Iñigo at a charity home for children called Asociacion De Damas De Filipinas in Paco, Manila.

That same day, Iñigo shared a photo of him with his dad alongside his birthday message for Piolo that goes,
“Happy Birthday to my Role Model. Thank you for for being a light in the dark. You left left big footsteps for me to follow. Here I am trying my best to fill em in. Thank you for guiding me through it. And for never giving up on me. As I make my own path I know you will forever be there to make sure I am safe and doing the right thing. I love you pa. Happy Birthday.”
