International singer and ‘The Voice PH’ coach Apl.de.ap recently purchased a franchise of a Jollibee store. According to the international singer, this is his way to help other Filipinos to get employment.
Besides helping those who are in need, Apl also shared through his Facebook page that opening a Jollibee restaurant was a dream come true for him because when he was younger, he was one of the less privileged who cannot eat at such food chains.

“Opening my first Jollibee store in Pampanga is a dream come true. Since I was a young boy, I always pointed at Jollibee and my mom would say, “[My child] we need this money for your siblings also, so next time.” And then one day, she finally took me into Jollibee and I think I lost my mind! I thought: ‘Oh my God did this happen?’ And now, it’s just my dream. I wanted to have a Jollibee store to create employment and I thought it would be the most stable thing that could help out others,” Apl posted on his Facebook page with a picture of his own restaurant.
Apl’s Jollibee store is located in Dau, Mabalacat town in Pampanga, Apl’s Jollibee branch is the 33rd store of the popular fast-food chain in the said province.
