Ogie Diaz, the talent manager of Liza Soberano, reacted on reports that Liza was already chosen to portray the role of ‘Darna.’
During the radio program ‘Sakto’ on DZMM, Ogie was asked by co-host Tina Marasigan if the reports were true. Ogie responded by saying that he is still waiting for the official announcement from Star Cinema.

“Sa totoo lang, isa lang ang sinasabi ko, hintayin nating mag-announce ang Star Cinema, ayaw ko pong umepal. Ayaw ko sa akin manggaling kung ano ang desisyon nila, kung si Liza ba o ibang aktres ang gaganap na Darna,” Ogie said.
He also shared that he even asked Star Cinema about the announcement, with Star Cinema responding with “mag-a-announce kami. Hintayin niyo lang”.
