Actor comedian and talent manager Ogie Diaz revealed that actress Liza Soberano is one of the possible candidates to play the role of the iconic superhero ‘Darna.’ People were speculating as who could be the next ‘Darna’ after Angel Locsin made it official that she can no longer play the role due to health concerns.
In an article published by entertainment site Push, Ogie was quoted as saying that if the role is offered to Liza, they will accept it.

“Isa siya sa mga choices,” Ogie said. “Maraming may gusto na gumanap pa ring Darna. Imagine-in mo ‘yung history ng mga gumanap na Darna, like si Ate Vi (Vilma Santos). So kung si Liza ang mapipili for the role, siyempre tatanggapin namin.” added Ogie.
