Miss World 2013 Megan Young will bring to life the character of “Thalia” for the second television adaptation of the hit Mexicanovela, “Marimar”.
It seems that Megan was not the only character to watch out for in the said remake but also her sister’s role – Lauren Young. Lauren will portray the role of Antonia, one of those soap opera villains who will belittle Thalia.

On their respective Instagram account, it seems that the Young sisters were excited for their roles on the “Marimar’ remake.
In an interview with GMA News, Megan said, “Prepared na ako kasi everyday, kontrabida siya ng buhay ko” as Miss World 2013 laughs.
“We have our misunderstandings so sanay na siguro ako, pero ibang klase siguro kasi siyempre she’s a portrayalist – more over the top, she’ll be more mean. She can be very sweet, but when she’s acting she becomes a whole different person. I’m very excited na makita ang side na ‘yun,” added Megan.
She even shared that they have already talked about their ‘confrontation scenes’, saying, “We talked about it. Ako nga ang ate niya, pero I think here, parang dapat halos magka-age kami. Sabi ko, just do what you have to do. Kung kailangan mo kong sabunutan, sabunutan mo ako!”
“Marimar” features the story of a poor woman, Thalia and the son of the Ibañez estate, Sergio. The two fall in love with each other but Sergio’s family was against their marriage. Despite Sergio’s family hostility towards their relationship, they prove that love knows no boundaries.
