People were surprised when Presidential aspirant Mayor Rodrigo Duterte divulged on a previous interview that he was allegedly molested by a priest during his childhood.
On an article published by Inquirer this Friday (December 4, 2015), Mayor Duterte said that his innocence was taken away from him when he was still in his first year high school by the late Fr. Paul Falvey, S.J., one of the Jesuit priests at AdDU.

“It happened during our generation, two years ahead of us and two years following us,” Duterte told reporters Thursday night. “It cost him some P25 million because other victims filed a case, it was a case of fondling—you know what—he did during confession, that’s how we lost our innocence early,” said Duterte.
Duterte expounded his side on why he opted out to file a case before when he was allegedly molested by the said priest.
