Robin Padilla and his wife, actress and host Mariel Rodriguez Padilla recently lost their unborn child; Mariel had a miscarriage and poured her heart out through an Instagram post last March 14, 2015.
Referring to their unborn child as ‘cutiepie’ Mariel posted “not all days are happy… some days are sad. #byecutiepie” with an image of her in tears.

Robin’s manager, Betchay Vidanes, confirmed this sad news.
Mariel was eight weeks and three days pregnant when the baby stopped developing; Mariel also shared what happened through Facebook and said:
“I am 8 weeks and 3 days pregnant today but my baby did not develop. I am waiting to bleed anytime now. Doctor says it’s a miscarriage. Sharing with all of you my journey, I don’t have it all figured out yet but I know with all the prayers, love and support that you are all bestowing upon me, I will get through this”.
She then thanked all of those who sent her messages of support and for all who prayed and showed their concern.
“From the bottom of my heart, It means a lot to me. Thank You!” ended Mariel with her post.
