If there is one trait that actor Enchong Dee is known for, it is Enchong’s being stingy. This trait of Enchong was one of the topics discussed in ABS-CBN’s morning show “Magandang Buhay” hosted by Karla Estrada, Jolina Magdangal and Melai Cantiveros.
TO best describe how stingy Enchong is, the program invited Maja Salvador to narrate stories about Enchong. In a video interview, Maja said there was a time when Echong ate some food that was already expired due to his stinginess.
“pag nagugutom siya (Enchong), kung hindi ako ang inaasahan niya, si Kim or si Xian din. One time, kumuha siya ng food ni Xian, hindi niya namalayan na expired na pala. Ganun siya kakuripot, nakakakain siya ng expired na pagkain.” said Maja who is a good friend of Enchong.
In fairness to Enchong, Salvador explained that the reason behind it was because the ‘I Love You to Death’ leading man has an ongoing building construction project and he has to minimize his expenses.
