On a video where Sarah Geronimo is performing the song ‘Bang Bang’ together with The Voice Kids runner-up Darren Espanto, international singer and Broadway performer, Lea Salonga couldn’t help but exclaim that Darren should have won the said reality based competition.
After watching the video, Lea admired Darren’s talent and posted on her personal Twitter account “An awesome Bang Bang by @JustSarahG and #DarrenEspanto. Dare I say it; he should’ve won The Voice Kids. Haaaaay.”
With Lea’s post, her followers agreed with her opinion but some also uttered concern with ‘The Voice Kids’ champion, Lyca Gairanod, on what she might feel regarding this matter.
Lea then tweeted “It’s not that she isn’t good. She is. [Lyca]. But he [Darren] just continues to impress me as a singer and as a human being.”
Lyca and Darren recently performed at The Voice Kids Concert with other two ‘The Voice Kids PH’ finalists, Juan Karlo Labajo and Darlene Vibares.
