Because of the high level competition and comments between coaches, people thought Coach Lea Salonga and Coach Apl.de.ap may have some misunderstanding.
Another thing that added to the confusion are the remarks of both coaches during the final battle. Coach Lea said the contest should be about the voice and not the story while Coach Apl said it is not a story, it is reality and is part of the inspiration.

“A story can in inspire, a voice can inspire, but they have to go hand-in-hand” Apl. De ap uttered in an interview with Aquino and Abunda Tonight.
When Jason Dy, from Team Sarah won over Alisah Bonaobra from Team Apl, Lea posted on her Twitter account how satisfied she was with the result.
Some fans noted that Lea’s tweet could offend both Apl.de.ap and Alisah Bonaobra, this started speculations that Lea and Apl.de.ap may have some misunderstanding.
But last March 3, 2015, Lea ended all the speculations as she posted on Instagram a photo of her (Lea) giving and Apl.de.ap a kiss on the cheek ending all speculations that they are not in good terms.
Lea even added a caption saying “I love you, Coach Apl! Thanks to Steffi Inocentes for this picture! And for the record, I was sober.”
More power to Coach Lea and Coach Apl.
