Willie Revillame’s legal counsel Nards De Vera told GMA News Online that his client (Willie) already posted bail and in effect there is no need for a warrant of arrest.
“We want to correct that misimpression that the court of appeals has ordered his arrest. What the CA said that it is okay for the RTC to issue a warrant of arrest so that Willie could be arraigned,” said the Atty De Vera.

“When the CA made the decision, it only merely said that the judge was correct in finding the probable cause” added De Vera.
Atty De Vera also said that with the new development, the trial will proceed and Willie will be given the opportunity to prove that their is no truth behind the complaint.
