Little Monsters Rejoice! Lady Gaga is back with her new solo album in three years, Joanne, topping the Billboard 200 chart.
Joanne –to a mixed response from critics- sold 201,000 copies in its first week according to Nielsen, making it Gaga’s fourth number 1 album, fourth highest debut of 2016, and the second biggest for a female artist. Only Drake’s Views (1.04 million), Beyoncé’s Lemonade (653,000), and Frank Ocean’s Blonde (276,000) opened with more units.
