When the rumor about James Reid dating Julia Barretto started to spread online, some of ‘JaDine’ (James Reid and Nadine Lustre love team) fans were not pleased and took to social media their disgust and disapproval about the said development.
In an interview with entertainment site Pep.ph, James clarified the issues surrounding him and Julia stating that there is no truth about them dating. James also said that he got hurt by all the negative criticisms he has been receiving since the rumor started.

Julia also admitted that she too is affected by the harsh comments thrown at her because of the rumor.
“Siyempre, ako din nasaktan ako sa bashers, kasi wala namang proof sa mga nasasabing rumors. I always say, kaming mga iniidolo nila, kaming mga iniiwanan ng mga comments sa Instagram, sa Twitter, tao lang kami. Nasasaktan kami sa mga ibinabato nilang salita,” Julia said.
Julia also supported James statement asking everyone to move on from the issue.
“Sana nakuha na ng bashers, ng mga tao na worried ‘yung peace of mind kasi nasagot na naman niya ‘yung issue. Take it from there. Move on na tayo and focus na tayo sa mga work natin,” explained the young actress.
