The rumor that young actor James Reid is supposedly courting young actress Julia Barretto is spreading like wildfire in the showbiz industry.
If remembered, James together with his on-screen tandem, young actress Nadine Lustre, co-starred with Julia in the movie “Para sa Hopeless Romantic”.
As James on-screen partner, it can’t be helped if Nadine is affected by the rumor, according to Nadine during an interview with ABS-CBN news and other press members last July 4, 2015, she admits that she is affected because lately, James is the target of bashers and netizens giving negative comments regarding James because of the issue.

“Apektado po ako dahil ka-trabaho ko po si James and siyempre hindi po maganda na siya ang tinitira ng bashers. Aminado naman po kami na we are not together, pero sana po hindi maapektuhan ang pagta-trabaho namin sa isa’t isa,” the young actress said.
But Nadine clarified that she has nothing against Julia, telling that Julia is a nice person.
“She’s really nice po. Sa ‘Para sa Hopeless Romantic,’ we talked a lot. Wala naman akong issue. Me and James, we are open naman po. Kung gusto niya, sige okay lang, go. Basta, as much as possible, sana maalagaan pa rin niya ang career niya. Okay naman po sa akin. Ang gusto ko lang po, magawa pa rin niya ang nagagawa niya dati, maging okay pa rin ang career niya. Depende naman po sa kanya kung ano ang gusto niya gawin,” explained Nadine.
