After being a couple for three years, it was speculated that actress Angelica Panganiban and actor John Lloyd Cruz were having some problems that may lead to their untimely breakup. However, in previous interviews with Angelica, she denies the rumor that their relationship was about to end.
In a feature story on Aquino and Abunda Tonight (A&A Tonight) last June 18, Angelica reiterated that the breakup is not true. “Parang tanga lang kasi yung mga gumagawa ng ganoong kuwento.” said Angelica.

On the other hand, in another feature story on A&A Tonight last Thursday, June 25, John Lloyd said Angelica is a ‘wife material’. “Ahh oo naman. Napaka swerte ng kung hindi man ako, napaka swerte ng magiging mapapangasawa nya,” said John Lloyd.
When asked about his plans about the wedding, he said, “I’ll let you know po… Hindi pa siguro,” as he smiles. “Siguro kasi pagka ilalagay ko na yung sarili ko dun, gusto ko buong-buo na mai ooffer ko sa kanya, sa magiging pamilya ko, yung oras ko. Yung dedication kasi ayoko naman ng ikakasal ako ngayon tapos next week, may schedule ako,” added John Lloyd.
During John Lloyd’s 32nd birthday celebration on June 24, he celebrated his birthday with Angelica, thus proving the rumors wrong. Additionally, Angelica posted a photo with John Lloyd whom she call “my love”:
“I’ll never get tired making you laugh. Happiest birthday my Love”
John Lloyd Cruz will appear on a special episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK) this Saturday, June 27.
