ABS-CBN weekend comedy program Banana Sundae celebrated its 8th Anniversary and the first part of its special show was aired last Sunday November 20, 2016. The program has Angelica Panganiban, John Prats, Pooh, JC de Vera, Jason Gainza, and Jessy Mendiola as some of its mainstays.
One of their special guest during the said celebration is actress Angel Locsin. The guesting of Angel created quite a stir among stir considering Angel is Luis Manzano’s ex-girlfriend which is now being linked to Jessy Mendiola.

In an interview with Mario Dumawal for ABS-CBN TV Patrol, Jessy gave the following statement with regards to the guesting of Angel on the program:
“Pakiramdam ko naman po OK naman po talaga kami… kahit dati pa… I think yung talagang hardcore na mga sumusuporta sa kanya or sa akin yung sila sila po ang nagcla-clash.
So sana po wag na lang po natin gawin yun para lang din happy na laha ng tao”
