Actress Jessy Mendiola was not able to hold back her tears when she denied her involvement in Luis Manzano’s breakup with Angel Locsin.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News during the story conference of her new show, Jessy defended herself from the allegations that she was third-party to the much-publicized relationship.
“You know, honestly, if it were true, I wouldn’t be here right now facing you guys. For me, it was clear that they broke up already when Luis started courting me. Babae ako, it happened to me before. I wouldn’t do that to any other girl,” Jessy told the reporters.
The actress said that she is hurt by the accusations that she caused Luis and Angel’s breakup.
“It hurts kapag sinasabi nila na, for a lack of better term, ‘ahas’ ka. Labas ako sa kanila and what happened between the two of them. ‘Yung amin, I think dapat labas na rin siya doon,” Jessy added.
