Singer Jed Madela admitted that he feels bad about the rumors spread by his detractors, linking him to young singer Darren Espanto.
In an interview with Pep.ph, as quoted in ABS-CBN News, the 39-year-old Jed stressed that he is only a fan of Darren, who he considers as his “little brother.”

“Kasi ako ever since, you know, I saw this kid perform on TV naging fan na talaga ako ni Darren and I was very vocal about it kahit minsan bina-bash na nga ako at inaaway ng mga tao, kung anu-ano na ang tsinitsimis sa akin,” Jed said.
Jed called his bashers as “malicious,” describing them as people who have nothing good to say about anybody. The singer also requested them to keep the 15-year-old Darren out of the muck.
