Kapuso actress and host Iya Villania is the new host of 24 ORAS entertainment segment Chika Minute. Iya will be replacing Pia Guanio who hosted the segment for 11 years. Pia’s reason for leaving is for her to have more time with husband Steeve and daughter Scarlet.
Iya made the announcement through an Instagram video post of GMA NEWS saying “Ayan, mga kapuso ako na ang magiging ka-chika niyo gabi-gabi, so please tune in to 24 oras, I’ll see you guys next Monday.”
With her wit and talent in hosting, Iya will definitely be a great addition to an already talented 24 ORAS news team – Mike Enriquez, Mel Tiango and Vicky Morales.
Iya will be starting on Monday, June 15.
