After they were introduced as guest hosts for a week, it was finally revealed last Saturday (January 3, 2016) that TV personalities Mariel Rodriguez and Amy Perez are now officially part of “It’s Showtime”.
Through an AVP, Mariel and Amy learned the good news as they are the newest addition to “It’s Showtime” family. Vice, Vhong and Karylle warmly welcomed the two for their first stint as official hosts of the noontime show.

“Naiiyak ako talaga pero pinipigilan ko,” admitted Mariel, who used to co-host another ABS-CBN noontime show back in 2010.
Both Mariel and Amy gave their message of thanks to everyone, from the staff, the management and to “madlang people” as well who gave them a chance to entertain their every afternoon.
The two joins “It’s Showtime” mainstays Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Coleen Garcia, Karylle, Jhong Hilario, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta, Eric “Eruption” Tai, Kim Atienza, and Ryan Bang.
