Veteran actress Gretchen Barretto admits that she is currently not in good terms with her sister, Marjorie Barretto.
Gretchen said that they are indeed in a silent war.
Supposedly the rift between Gretchen and Marjorie started late 2014 when the public noticed that Gretchen and Marjorie haven’t been posting pictures of them together in Instagram and rumors also suggest that it is because of Gretchen’s admiration of young actress Liza Soberano.

Marjorie was apparently hurt because of Gretchen’s postings about Liza and how vocal Gretchen is when it comes to Liza’s beauty.
Liza then is considered to be her niece’s Julia Barretto’s competitor on ABS-CBN since they are both being groomed as the top leading ladies of the said network.
Though Gretchen was invited to Julia’s 18th birthday celebration, she is not sure on whether she will attend the party because she doesn’t want to make Julia feel uncomfortable with her presence and wants her niece to enjoy that special day.
But in the end, Gretchen knows that family will always be family, she said that no matter what has been said between them, they will always have this bond that will never break.
