Around a year after his controversial breakup with Dance Princess Maja Salvador, Kapamilya award-winning actor Gerald Anderson admitted that he is still not ready to fall in love and commit to a relationship.
In an interview with StarCinema during the press conference of their movie, Gerald shared some of his life and love realizations while he was shooting for Dan Villegas’ romantic-comedy film “Always Be My Maybe.”

“Nung una dine-deny ko, sabi ko, ‘Hindi naman ako ganun kalala.’ Pero habang shinu-shoot namin yung film, habang ginagawa namin yung mga scenes, gusto kong kausapin ’yung mga writers, ‘Ako ba ’yung peg niyo dito?’”
Still and all, he affirmed that he is at peace with himself considering that he already buried the hatchet with his exes.
“’Yun naman ang importante lalo na pag kasalanan mo, kapag nagkamali ka, yun ang pinaka-importante, being at peace, forgiving yourself.”
