Cheers to the Filipino Pride as Gabriel Valenciano, son of Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, was recognized for his additional choreography in Beyoncé’s ‘7/11’ music video.
Beyonce’s music video was nominated for Video of the Year, Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Best Choreography and Best Editing in the MTV Video Music Awards 2015 as announced last Tuesday (July 21, 2015).

The said music video was inspired by Gab’s “super-selfie” videos wherein he shows-off his snappy dance moves. On Beyonce’s music video, she is randomly dancing at a corridor, balcony and hotel room. This also means that the ‘7/11’ music video has some Pinoy flavor on it.
On his Twitter account, Gab announced the good news. He said:
“5 nominations, including Best Choreography. Wow. God is good. @Beyonce @MTV #VMA”
Gab’s parents were also proud of their son’s achievement. On her Instagram account, mom Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano said:
